He holds a Ph.D. in Educational Technology from Brunel University, UK, alongside degrees in Communication Systems Engineering. Since joining Gulf University in 2006, he has held key leadership roles before assuming the presidency in 2017. Beyond academia, he is the founder and owner of Sustainable Construction & Real Estate, applying his expertise to sustainable building and contracting. A Principal Fellow of the HEA (UK) and author of 80+ research papers, he is recognized globally for his contributions to education, technology, and sustainable development.
